This week is really a mixed bag. My wife made fried chicken and, of course, I ate it…with cornbread! I’ve had about three 24-ounce soft drinks this week and, on Wednesday, we had pizza for dinner and, on Thursday, I had french toast for breakfast.
But, it wasn’t really as bad a week as it sounds. I’ve worked out three times, so far. I also at a lot of healthier meals, as well. From Monday through today, all my lunches have been sensible. With the exception of Thursday, all my breakfasts have, as well. I have had a lot of water this week and my snacks at work have been Greek yogurt or apples with peanut butter.
But, the most exciting part of this had to be getting on the scale this morning. I actually had to check three times to make sure it wasn’t a fluke but, when I weighed myself, I’d actually lost 6 pounds since last Friday.
I think it was the last item that helped pull my grade up for this week so, going by my rather subjective scale, I give myself a B-.
