All right…it’s time to come clean. I indulged some this week. I couldn’t resist the temptation of Adricatico’s pizza, which is a local spot near the University of Cincinnati’s campus. I ended up eating three slices of it for lunch on Wednesday. But, overall, I did okay. I’ve worked out three days this week, so far. I’ve also had a few lighter lunches and not-so-heavy dinners this week.
On the workout front, I actually pushed myself harder than I have in a long time. I challenged myself by changing my cardio routine. Additionally, I’ve increased the weight on my dumbbell presses and shoulder presses. Also, I was proud of the fact that I was able to work myself up to 120 lbs on my tricep pushdown. Yesterday, I also tried doing barbell complexes. I have to post about that. It is truly a workout that will make you question your judgement afterward. But, it is something that I will add to the repertoire.
Overall, I think it was a pretty good week. In looking at the scale, I actually lost a couple of pounds. So, for this week, I give myself a B-. Now, let’s see if I can get myself to the gym tonight.
