Feeling like a loser (in a good way)

This week, I was a loser…and I couldn’t be prouder.  I went to the gym 6 of the last 7 days and worked out for at least an hour each day.  I watched my calories, ate sensibly, got my water in and avoided my favorite drink, Coca Cola.  I managed to get to bed earlier — most nights, anyway.

For all my hard work and effort, I stand before you today declaring myself a loser.

Between last Monday and today, I have lost at least 6 pounds.

I didn’t starve myself or try to kill myself in the gym.  Instead, I got back on the routine that had brought me success earlier:

  1. Being mindful of the types of foods and the number of calories I consumed.
  2. Upping my cardio activity.
  3. Sleeping ~7 hours per night.

Keeping it simple is allowing me to not get overwhelmed by my goal of losing 90 more pounds, well maybe more like 84, now.

I am hoping that this formula will get me there.
