About Me
I’m a husband, a father, a full-time employee and an occasional church volunteer. In other words, I’m like a lot of people.
I’m also overweight and am working to change that reality.
Like a lot of overweight people, I face challenges. How do you find the time to plan out healthy meals when you have work and family and/or civic activities in which your involved? How do you find the motivation to hit the gym after you’ve had a grueling day at work? How do I avoid the tempting snacks and treats that always seem to make their way into the break room at work? Okay, maybe the last one is just me but, you get the point.
We all have challenges. I want to not only share mine with you but, to also show how we can work through them. Believe me, it’s going to be a HUGE challenge for me but, one I plan on seeing through. Along the way, I am hoping to pick up some friends so that we can inspire each other to face these and other challenges.
Welcome to the Challenge of a Big Man.
