One foot in front of the other
Over the last many weeks, I have been slacking on the cardio. No surprise here – I started gaining weight back. Somehow, that extra 30 minutes or so was just too much for me to add to my workout so, I all but dropped it. For a while there, I was becoming a real “gym rat” and it was paying off. I would do the weights 3-4 days a week and cardio 5-6 days a week and it was paying dividends. Of course, I got “too busy” to keep this up and yet found time to do every other minor thing I wanted.
This week, I stopped making excuses. I’ve been to the gym 3 times already since Monday. I’m taking tonight off to support my son’s performance at school but, you best bet that, tomorrow, I’m back in the gym. There’s a treadmill with my name on it and some weights that need lifting.
